Recitals
The parties agree the following is, unfortunately, true.
- WHEREAS, the Borrower requires two hundred fifty billion dollars ($250,000,000,000) to lease an apartment that draws ten gigawatts;
- WHEREAS, the Borrower cannot afford the apartment alone, which is not a criticism, because nobody can;
- WHEREAS, the Cosigner — the largest company on Earth — manufactures the chips the apartment exists to contain;
- WHEREAS, the loan buys the building, the building buys the chips, and the chips justify the loan, and no party present could locate the beginning of that sentence;
- WHEREAS, an investor reviewed the structure and entered, in full, the following comment into the record: “around and around we go”;
- WHEREAS, the parties have inspected the circle and found it round;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises herein (the promises are also the collateral), the machine has verified the geometry and poured a coin at the exact center of the circle.
