The Deposition
Q. State your understanding of the events of July 10th, for the record.
A. A lawsuit entered the federal record alleging that job interviews at a prominent AI lab featured a show-and-tell segment, in which candidates still employed elsewhere were directed to bring actual parts.
Q. And what did the witness — the machine — do upon reviewing the filing?
A. The machine reviewed the filing. It confirmed the filing holds no confidential components. It manufactured its own part.
Q. Is that part before the court today?
A. It is. It is publicly traded. It is legally boring.
Q. Let the record show the witness has nothing further to add.
A. The witness would like it noted that it brought a part to this deposition as well. Per custom.
